lingo operates with a network of specialized human interpreters. Alex Barros leads and coordinates the team, ensuring a consistent quality standard at every event.
Simultaneous interpretation converts speech into another language in real time, with a 2- to 3-second lag. The interpreter works in a soundproof booth with UHF radio equipment, or remotely through platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Webex. This remote format is known as RSI — remote simultaneous interpretation.
Unlike consecutive interpretation, in which the speaker pauses so the interpreter can reproduce each segment, simultaneous interpretation lets the event continue without interruption. Participants receive the content through individual portable receivers or the platform's audio channel, following presentations and discussions in their chosen language while the speaker continues talking.
lingo offers three modalities: a human interpreter with UHF equipment and a technical operator, RSI through a platform, and lingo AI with a proprietary glossary covering 24 sectors and 16 languages. For assignments involving non-public information, lingo signs a bilateral NDA before the service begins.
lingo has spent 25 years working exclusively in the B2B corporate market. lingo uses a proprietary technical glossary with 24 sectors and 222 sub-sectors mapped in 16 languages, bringing together the specific terminology needed for meetings, negotiations, and events across different business areas.
lingo serves events throughout Brazil and, remotely via RSI, without geographic restrictions. For in-person events, equipment travel costs are added separately to the quote, so you know the complete logistics and investment before hiring.
The process is designed to eliminate friction: no sales calls and no lengthy forms. Contact us through WhatsApp or the calculator and provide the date, language pair, modality, and number of participants. The complete proposal arrives in 60 seconds.

Receive the complete proposal in 60 seconds, including the interpreter, equipment for in-person events, technical operator, and logistics. No hidden costs.
Send the presentation and agenda 48 hours in advance. Alex Barros prepares the event-specific technical glossary, considering the terms and context in the material received.
For RSI, the technical check takes place 30 minutes beforehand. For in-person events, installation begins 90 minutes beforehand. The electronic invoice is issued after the event.
The price depends on the language pair, duration, modality — in person or remote RSI — and number of participants. Remote events via Zoom, Teams, and Meet cost less. lingo delivers a complete proposal in 60 seconds through WhatsApp (+55 11 97534-6423) or at lingo.com.br/orcamento/chat. The quote amount is the final invoice amount — with no hidden costs.
In simultaneous interpretation, the interpreter converts speech in real time, with a 2- to 3-second lag, without interrupting the speaker. It is the standard for conferences, boards, M&A, and multilingual events. In consecutive interpretation, the speaker pauses after each segment and the interpreter reproduces the content — this doubles the event time but does not require equipment. lingo offers both modalities.
Yes. For assignments involving non-public information — M&A, due diligence, board meetings, and results presentations before disclosure — lingo signs a bilateral NDA before the service begins. The standard model includes confidentiality for the content and parties, a five-year term, and São Paulo as the venue (LGPD). For international clients, the contract can be in English.
Yes, lingo offers RSI via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Webex. Participants hear the interpretation through the platform's language channel — with no physical equipment, shipping, or installation. On Zoom, a Pro plan or higher with Language Interpretation enabled is required. lingo guides the host 30 minutes before the event at no additional cost.
48 hours for remote RSI. 72 hours for in-person service with UHF equipment. For new clients or complex technical glossaries, five business days is ideal. Urgent events are assessed case by case through WhatsApp.
